Loved how you deconstructed this story. Honestly, would love to see more of that. I'm going to tie conflict into everything I write now.

Although, I must say that I am sorry that they booed you in the beginning. That couldn't have been easy to take. I admire how you turned the situation around!

Gah this story is so stressful! Another great gem from your vault and I love the lesson here. Something I definitely want to apply to my own storytelling.

This was so helpful to me. I took several highlights so I can reference it when writing future articles.

Also, your introductions are unmatched!

Gezus H. This is so well written. I feel like you’re in a teaching class by yourself. That’s a visceral experience, watching you do your pumped up backflip as a result of getting spooned! Pushing through the fear to the adrenaline is a work in process but your words are like little rocket propellers.

Wow, I loved this story! It reflected parts of my own journey where it feels like life is already turning on you and you flipped it on its head. Thank you so much for this read.

Rick, you know I love your call to us as storytellers to be heroic frontiersman at the precipice of the unknown. It’s not metaphorical, and you paint that so well.

Thanks for the call to action. I’m going to take it seriously

So true about conflict and surprise! This was fun to read and packed with insight. I like how you *showed* your message about conflict with the story introducing this article followed by your analysis of it. Well done Rick.
